Original Poem:
به غیر از آن که بشد دین و دانش از دستم
بیا بگو که ز عشقت چه طرف بربستم
اگر چه خرمن عمرم غم تو داد به باد
به خاک پای عزیزت که عهد نشکستم
چو ذره گر چه حقیرم ببین به دولت عشق
که در هوای رخت چون به مهر پیوستم
بیار باده که عمریست تا من از سر امن
به کنج عافیت از بهر عیش ننشستم
اگر ز مردم هشیاری ای نصیحتگو
سخن به خاک میفکن چرا که من مستم
چگونه سر ز خجالت برآورم بر دوست
که خدمتی به سزا برنیامد از دستم
بسوخت حافظ و آن یار دلنواز نگفت
که مرهمی بفرستم که خاطرش خستم
Translated Poem:
Except that I lose religion and knowledge
Come tell me where I went because of your love
Although the harvest of my life, your sorrow has given to the wind
I did not break my promise to you dear
Look at the state of love, how humble I am
that I joined Mehr in the air of the clothes
May the wind be safe from my head for a lifetime
I did not sit in the corner of Affit because of pleasure
If you are alert and give advice to people
They throw words to the ground because I am drunk
How can I embarrass my friend?
that I did not receive any service

یارتان اگرچه از نظر مادی در مضیقه می باشد ولی بسیار مهربان و وفادار است. به او اعتماد کنید او تمام خوشی ها را بر خود حرام کرده تا بتواند شما را خوشبخت نماید. در رسیدن به حاجات شما هم کمکش کنید هر چند که او می گوید شرمنده است ولی شما باز هم یاری اش دهید.

Although your friend is in financial distress, he is very kind and loyal.Trust him, he has forbidden all happiness to himself so that he can make you happy.Help him in reaching his needs, even though he says he is ashamed, but you still help him.
