There was a man who denied the truth

A noble figure passed by him

He sat with a face drenched in sweat from shame

Thinking, 'Oh! I am ashamed before the elder of the neighborhood!'

The wise elder heard these words

He became agitated and said, 'O young man!'

Does no shame come to you from yourself?

When the Truth is present, and you feel shame before me?

You do not fear from anyone's side

Go, hold fast to the side of Truth and nothing else

Feel such shame before your Lord

That you feel shame from both strangers and kin
