Section 5 - Tale on the Disgrace of Overeating: Do you know the surprise I brought from Basra?

Do you know what I brought from Basra, how strange!

A story sweeter than dates themselves

A few men in the robe of the righteous

Passed by the edge of the date palm grove

One had a warehouse in his stomach

He was so spoiled by his gluttony, he became contemptible

He was caught between hunger and climbed a tree

And from there, fell hard, catching his neck

Not every time you can eat dates and carry them

The bad bag’s end was that it ate and died

The village chief came and asked, 'Who killed this one?'

I said, 'Do not shout harshly at us'

His stomach dragged him by the branch

He had a narrow heart, but the river was wide

The belly is bound by the hands and chained by the feet

The belly of the servant is rare; God seeks its fill

In the end, the entire stomach turned into locusts

And a small ant drags his stomach by the foot

Go into the inner room and obtain it, pure

The stomach will not be filled except with dust
