بخش ۷ - حکایت: بزارید وقتی زنی پیش شوی
A woman complained to her husband one day
That he should no longer buy bread from the local grocer.
بزارید وقتی زنی پیش شوی
که دیگر مخر نان ز بقال کوی
He should go to the wheat sellers' market
For this one is a barley seller pretending to be a wheat seller.
به بازار گندمفروشان گرای
که این جوفروشیست گندمنمای
Not from customers, but from the swarm of flies
No one has seen his face for a week.
نه از مشتری، کز زحام مگس
به یک هفته رویش ندیدهست کس
To comfort that needy man (the grocer)
He said to his wife, 'O bringer of light (my dear)'
بهدلداری آن مرد صاحبنیاز
به زن گفت کای روشناییبساز
He built his small shop here with hope in us
It would not be manly to withhold our benefit from him.
به امید ما کلبه اینجا گرفت
نه مردی بوَد نفع از او وا گرفت
Follow the path of noble and free men
When you are standing (stable), take the hand of one who has fallen (is in need).
ره نیکمردانِ آزاده گیر
چو استادهای دست افتاده گیر
Forgive, for those who are men of truth
Are the buyers of the unprofitable shop (they support those in need).
ببخشای کآنان که مرد حقند
خریدار دکان بیرونقند
If you want the truth, a generous man is a saint
Generosity is the profession of the king of men, Ali.
جوانمرد اگر راست خواهی ولیست
کرم پیشهٔ شاه مردان علیست
