Hekayat No. 15: A Young Wife's Passing

A man's beautiful young wife passed away, and his old mother-in-law remained in the house due to the dowry, and the man was deeply distressed by her conversation and saw no way out of her proximity, until a group of acquaintances came to visit him.

One of them said: How are you doing in the separation from your dear wife?

He said: Not seeing my wife is not as difficult for me as seeing my mother-in-law.

The flower was plundered and the thorn remained

The treasure was taken away and the snake remained.

Seeing one's head on the tip of a spear

Is better than seeing the faces of enemies.

It is necessary to cut ties with a thousand friends

So that you do not have to see one enemy.
