Hekayat No. 4: One day, I was driven hard by the pride of youth and at night I was left at the foot of a shaky mountain.
One day, driven by the pride of youth, I had ridden hard, and by nightfall, I was exhausted at the foot of a hill.
A weak old man came from behind the caravan and said: 'Why do you sit when this is not a place to sleep?'
I said: 'How can I go when I have no strength to walk?!'
He said: 'Have you not heard what the wise have said: 'Going and resting is better than running and breaking down.''
O you who are eager for a destination, do not rush
Heed my advice and learn patience.
The Arabian horse runs swiftly at a gallop
While the camel goes slowly day and night.
