A fool was teaching a donkey,

Having spent constant effort on him.

A wise man said to him: O fool, what are you striving for?

In this endeavor, fear the blame of the blamer.

The beast will not learn speech from you,

You learn silence from the beast.

Whoever does not reflect before answering,

Their words will mostly be incorrect.

Either speak eloquently like intelligent people,

Or sit silent like animals.
