The ruler Houshang, with wisdom and justice,

Placed the crown on his head in his ancestor's place.

The wheel of fortune turned for forty years,

Full of wisdom in mind and counsel in heart.

When he sat on the majestic throne,

Thus he spoke from the imperial throne.

That over the seven realms I am king,

The victorious ruler and sovereign.

By the command of the victorious God,

I tightened my belt with justice and generosity.

And thereafter, he made the world prosperous,

Filling the face of the earth with justice.

First, a gem came into his grasp,

With fire, he separated iron from stone.

He made molten iron the foundation,

From which he extracted the hard stone.
