Section 1: What does the villager’s spokesperson say first
What does the speaker of the peasant say first?
Who sought the great name in the world?
Who was the one who placed the crown on his head?
No one remembers those times
Except that the son remembers from the father
And tells you one by one from door to door
Who brought forth the great name?
Who had a higher rank than those?
The researcher of the ancient book
Who tells the stories of the heroes
He said that the tradition of the throne and crown
Was brought by Keyumars, and he was the king
When the sun came to the tower of Aries
The world became full of glory, custom, and water
It shone in such a way from the tower of Aries
That the world became youthful entirely
Keyumars became the headman of the world
The first to make a place in the mountains
The top of his fortune and throne arose in the mountains
He wore leopard skins himself with his group
From him came nourishment
New clothing and new food
He was the king for thirty years in the world
In beauty, like the sun, he was on the throne
The glory of kingship shone from him
Like the full moon from the tall cypress
All beasts and creatures that saw him
Found peace near him
They would bow before his throne
Because of his exalted glory and fortune
They came before him as a prayer tradition
And took their customs from him
He had a handsome son
Skilled and a seeker of fame like his father
He was named Siamak and he was blessed
Keyumars's heart was revived by him
His life was filled with tears from love
He was tormented by the fear of separation
A time passed over this matter
The fortune of the king shone brightly
He had no enemies in the world
Except the wicked and cunning Ahriman
Ahriman was envious and wicked
He plotted to lift his wings
He had a child like a large wolf
Who became a brave warrior with a large army
The world became dark for that devil child
From the fortune of Siamak and that position
He raised an army and sought his way near him
He sought the throne and crown of the king
He shared his opinion with everyone
He filled the world with his voice
Keyumars was unaware of this
That someone else wanted his throne
One by one, the blessed Srosh came
Like a fairy wearing leopard skins
He told him of this matter
That the enemy was plotting against his father
When Siamak heard these words
Of the wicked deeds of the evil demon
The young prince's heart boiled with rage
He gathered an army and listened carefully
He covered his body with leopard skin
For there was no armor or war custom
He faced the warlike demon
As the army came face to face
Siamak came with a bare body
And grappled with Ahriman's son
The black demon struck with a twisted claw
He bent the king's height in two
He threw the prince's body to the ground
With his claw, he tore his waist
Siamak perished in the hands of the demon
He died, and the assembly remained leaderless
When the king learned of his son's death
The world turned dark for him with sorrow
He descended from the throne, wailing
Women tearing their hair and faces
His face covered in blood and heart full of grief
His eyes filled with tears like a spring cloud
A wail arose from the army in sorrow
They lined up at the king's door
All their clothes dyed turquoise
Eyes like bloody clouds and pale faces
Beasts, birds, and game animals gathered
They went wailing to the mountain
They went with mourning and pain
Dust arose from the king's courtyard
They sat grieving for a year
A message came from the divine judge
The blessed Srosh brought greetings
Saying, 'Do not wail anymore and regain your senses'
Raise an army and march by my command
Bring forth a group from that assembly
From that wicked demon of the earth
Cleanse and purify your heart from hatred
The famed king raised his head to the sky
He sought ill for the ill-willed
He called upon the highest name of God
He called out and wiped his eyelashes
Then he rushed to avenge Siamak
He found no peace or rest day and night
