The air became invisible from the dust of the army.

And seated them in the court to give dinars.

The great ones of the army gathered.

So that after the reign of King Kavus,

No one else should have the right to that throne,

Except the renowned Rostam, son of Zal,

The master of the sword and mace.

After that, the king blessed him,

May no one see the court without you.

May the hearts of the crowned ones be warm towards you,

May your soul be full of modesty and respect.

Rostam bowed and kissed the throne,

He prepared for his journey and packed his belongings.

The sound of drums arose from the city,

Joy reached everyone.

Rostam, son of Zal, departed, and the king sat (on the throne),

He illuminated the world with justice and righteousness.

He sat joyfully on the golden throne,

He closed the door to tyranny and injustice.

When he returned from the city of Mazandaran.

He said to him, 'Turn away evil from Iran.'

Then he gave Isfahan to Goudarz,

And gave him the authority and command of that region.

And after that, he turned to joy and wine,

He had shown many exploits to the world.

He struck the neck of sorrow with the sword (he eliminated sorrow),

The memory of death did not come to his heart.

The earth became full of greenery, water, and moisture,

The world became adorned like the Garden of Iram.

The people became prosperous through justice and security,

The hand of Ahriman (evil) was restrained from evil.

News spread throughout the world that King Kavus

Had seized the crown and throne of Mazandaran.

Everyone remained utterly astonished by this,

That King Kavus had achieved this greatness.

Everyone, with pure hearts, with gifts and offerings,

Formed a line at the king's door.

The world became adorned like a paradise,

Full of justice and filled with riches.

Now the war of Mazandaran has come to an end,

I will bring forth the war of Hamavaran.
