Section 2: It was such that every night two young men

So bad that every night two young men

Whether of lowly rank or from the seed of a hero

The cook brought food to the king's palace

And prepared the way for the king's remedy

You killed him and took his brain

And made the meal for that dragon

Two pure ones from the jewels of the king

Two men of great worth and virtue

One named Ermayil, the pure in faith

The other named Garmayil, the seer

So bad that one day they were together

Talking of every sort of thing, both big and small

Of the tyrannical king and his army

And of the evil customs within the feast

One said, 'We must go to serve as butlers'

We must present ourselves before the king

And then one devised a solution

And tossed aside all other thoughts

Unless one of these two sheds blood

One will find a way to bring him out

They went and became butlers

They learned how to prepare the dishes and their portions

The meal in the house of the king of the world

The two men took it secretly with alert hearts

When the time came to spill the blood

They poured it into the sweet rivers

From that day the executioners of men

Took the two young men in chains

The women ran to the butlers

And threw them on the floor from above

Full of pain, the butlers' hearts

Full of blood, their eyes filled with hatred

Look at this as bad, and that as worse

From the tyrannical actions of the king of the earth

Of those two, one was executed

They knew no other solution

They took the brain of a sheep

And mixed it with the brain of the noble one

One warned with his life and said

Be careful not to hide your head within

Be careful not to be without a prosperous city

You are meant for the world, the plains, and the mountains

Instead of his head, they used a worthless one

They made a meal for the dragon

Thus, every month, thirty young fish

From them, they would find a soul

When two hundred men gathered from them

They didn't know who they were

The cook gave them a few goats and sheep

And set them before the desert

Now, the Kurds have offspring from that lineage

And from the prosperous city, no one remembers him

Then the law of Zahhak turned upside down

So bad that he longed for wine

He wanted one of the warriors

And he fought as if with a demon

Where the famous, beautiful girl

Was inside the veil, speechless

He made her his servant before him

Not according to religion, nor custom
