Section 3: When he recognized it, he took up the blacksmithing profession
When he learned smithing, he took it as his trade
From smithing, he crafted saws and axes made
When this was done, he made a plan for water's course
From seas he drove rivers with mighty force
To brooks and rivers, the waters he gave path
With blessing, he shortened the toil-filled wrath
Thus for the people, grazing lands increased
He scattered seeds, reaped crops, and joy was released
Then each man earned his own bread with great pride
They worked and recognized their own tools to abide
By the divine grace and the royal splendor's glow
He separated beasts of prey from gentle ones, so they may grow
He tamed the cow, donkey, and sheep for yield
Made useful whatever was fruitful in the field
From beasts with fine fur, he harvested their skin
He slew them and wore their hides to shield his kin
Like foxes, ermines, and soft squirrels of the land
And the sable whose fur is warm, fit for hand
Thus, from hides of roaming beasts, clothes he made
And covered the bodies of noble men displayed
He toiled, he spread, he ate, and passed it on
He left, bearing nothing but a noble name gone
He endured much hardship in those times of strife
With countless thoughts and spells, he shaped his life
When fortune smiled and prosperity drew near
He left a legacy of a majestic throne held dear
But fate granted him no time to stay
Thus Hushang departed with his grace and array
The world will not tie itself to you with love's embrace
Nor will it reveal to you its unveiled face
