In love, everything is transformed

O soul, you have reached the soul of souls

And you have left behind the body of a body

The ruby is the alms of our friend

The dervish eats the gold of the rich

That suffering Maryam will find

Fresh, moist, and heavenly dates

So that the eye of another does not lift

Do not show kindness to the creation

If your desire for faith is security

Seek safety in seclusion

What is seclusion? The house of the heart

Make your home in the heart, O dweller

In the house of the heart, they deliver

That eternal and pleasant cup

Be silent and adopt the art of silence

Leave aside your boast of great skill

For the heart is the place of faith

In the heart, I hold a believer
