Recite again, O wise one, the enchantment

For the cure of unawareness

Include opium in the wine

Since you have no release, become without how

So that you may see the beauty without how

See the heart full of blood, O cupbearer

Give that ruby-like cup of blood

For reason, for the sake of the lower (world)

Brings prostration out of greed to every base one

Wine drinkers do not buy for half a barleycorn

These two correct discs of the sphere

Ask Majnun about the pride of love

So that (you know) what is in Majnun's head

The strayings of love tear apart

Hundreds of thousands of paths and laws

O morning breeze, you go and tell from me

From the generosity of the sea, the hidden pearl

Even though you have said in anger, 'I will not do it'

Give life to this molded black mud

Shams of Tabriz, the Moses of the covenant

In your separation, do not keep Aaron
