Ghazal No. 279: Our master, our master, made us rich, made us rich
Our Master, our Master, he enriched us, he enriched us
We were thirsty in the evening, we became quenched in the morning
Do not grieve, do not forget, do not fear tyranny
Our homelands, our homelands, for your sake our homelands
You honored us, you comforted us, even if you were intoxicated
O lightning, O night visitor, embrace us naked
Whoever was earthly, he did not come pleasing
Let him worship, let him worship our separation, our separation
Whoever was heavenly, he came sweet
We water them with our meaning, colors, colors
And the rest, and the rest, between him, O cupbearer
O benefactor, O benefactor, kindness, kindness
