Ghazal No. 286: Oh you who built the palace of perfection
O you who built the palace of perfection high
You are still fortunate, supported by good fortunes
He shook hearts and turned them away with his rejections
And the blood of lovers became scattered
O you who dwell in the places of love in anxiety
You think that love will leave you in vain
No, by the one who possessed beauty and splendor
And left no tricks or hands for the lovers
And that is Shams al-Din, a master and lord
And Tabriz from him has become like paradise
