Ghazal No. 329: Come, come, the rose garden has blossomed
Come, come, for the rose garden has bloomed
Come, come, for the beloved has arrived
Bring at once all soul and world
Entrust to the sun, for it has drawn its sword well
Laugh at that ugly one who shows off
Weep for that friend who has been cut off from the friend
Riot the whole city when the rumor fell
That the madman has once again escaped from the chain
What day is this, what day is this, such a day of resurrection?
Has the book of deeds perhaps flown from the horizons?
Beat the drums and say nothing else
What place is there for heart and intellect when even the soul has fled?
