Ghazal No. 331: From that king who has no desire for drum and banner
For that king who has no desire for drums and banners
I have become mad, there is no blame on the madman
From afar you see me as a walking person
That person is an illusion, but it is not other than nothingness
Come forward and become nothing, for nothingness is the mine of the soul
But not such a soul that is nothing but grief and sorrow
I without me and you without you, let us enter this stream
Because in this dryness there is nothing but oppression and tyranny
This stream drowns, but does not kill a man
For it is the water of life, and there is nothing but grace and generosity
