Ghazal No. 383: Hey, you who have relaxed your neck, where is your kebab? Where is your wine?
Hey, you who have loosened your neck, where is your kebab, where is your wine?
Hey, how dark-faced you are, O you who have taken the sun!
Do you remember that in your intoxication, you fought with reason?
Since you broke its key, from whom will be the opening of your door?
If you do not boil in the sorrow of Shirin, you will inevitably sell vinegar
You closed the water of life, inevitably your water has gone
You had become the possessor of high virtues, you were showing grace and proof
Behold, the touchstone of love has come, where is your question, where is your answer?
You were the chief of merchants, you were showing yourself as Qarun
It was a dream and it vanished when your sleep went from your head
You boasted much of strength, finally you went into yogurt
Now drink what you have, yogurt has become your pure wine
Even if you know the essence and meaning of these, hide them
In the tablets of your conscience, so that it does not come into writing
