Ghazal No. 363: My pain is from my lover, and the cure is from her as well.
غزل شماره ۳۶۳: دردم از یار است و درمان نیز هم
My pain is from the beloved, and the cure is also the same
My heart was sacrificed for him, and my soul also
دردم از یار است و درمان نیز هم
دل فدای او شد و جان نیز هم
This is what they say, that it is more beautiful than beauty
Our beloved has this, and that also
این که میگویند آن خوشتر ز حسن
یار ما این دارد و آن نیز هم
May the memory of the one who intended to kill us be blessed
He broke the covenant and the promise also
یاد باد آن کو به قصد خون ما
عهد را بشکست و پیمان نیز هم
I speak to friends in secret
It will be said to the hands also
دوستان در پرده میگویم سخن
گفته خواهد شد به دستان نیز هم
When the fortune of the nights of union arrived
Let the days of separation also pass
چون سر آمد دولت شبهای وصل
بگذرد ایام هجران نیز هم
Both worlds are illuminated by the light of his face
I told you, openly and secretly also
هر دو عالم یک فروغ روی اوست
گفتمت پیدا و پنهان نیز هم
There is no trust in the affairs of the world
Rather, there is trust in the revolving heavens also
اعتمادی نیست بر کار جهان
بلکه بر گردون گردان نیز هم
The lover is not afraid of the judge, bring the wine
Rather, he is afraid of the madness of the court also
عاشق از قاضی نترسد می بیار
بلکه از یرغوی دیوان نیز هم
The censor knows that Hafez is a lover
And Asaf, the king of Solomon, also
محتسب داند که حافظ عاشق است
و آصف ملک سلیمان نیز هم
