No. 46: Go, O my physician, for I have no news from my head.
شماره ۴۶: برو ای طبیبم از سر که خبر ز سر ندارم - به خدا رها کنم جان که ز جان خبر ندارم
Go away, O my physician, for I have no knowledge of my head (state).
By God, I will let go of my life, for I have no awareness of my own soul.
برو ای طبیبم از سر که خبر ز سر ندارم
به خدا رها کنم جان که ز جان خبر ندارم
Visit me, so that I may recover from my unconsciousness.
Drink pure wine and also give (to me), for I have no other sorrow.
به عیادتم قدم نه که ز بیخودی شوم به
می ناب نوش و هم ده که غم دگر ندارم
If you share my sorrow, I will no longer grieve, enough of grieving.
I have no other gaze towards anyone except you.
غمم ار خوری از این پس نکنم ز غم خوری بس
نظری به جز تو با کس به کسی دگر ندارم
From your gold they make ornaments, with your gold they draw (others) close.
What can I, this distressed pauper, do since I have no gold?
ز زَرت کنند زیور به زرت کشند در بر
من بینوای مضطر چه کنم که زر ندارم
Do not tell me again that I wish to be driven away from your court.
You are on that (path) and I am on this (path), that I will not take my heart away from you.
دگرم مگو که خواهم که ز درگهت برانم
تو بر این و من بر آنم که دل از تو برندارم
Even though I worship wine, do not put wine in my hand.
Do not take my heart from my hand, for I have no other heart.
به من ار چه میْ پرستم مدهید می به دستم
مبرید دل ز دستم که دل دگر ندارم
If you seek Hafez's heart, the sorrow of his heart is from (your) harshness.
When I tell you, you say, 'I have no time for headaches'.
دل حافظ ار بجویی غم دل ز تندخویی
چو بگویمت، بگویی سر دردسر ندارم
