Quatrain 136 from Rubaiyat of Rumi
Description: English Translation of the Quatrain
That king whose dust underfoot is a crown,
I said that separation from you is worse than death.
Now my yellowed face bears witness, go forth,
For what is a rose to a face whose work is like gold.
