O wind! Tell my secret to her,
Tell the secret of my heart in a hundred languages.
Tell it not in such a way that it would sadden her,
Say something and imply the rest.

Poetic and Interpretive Translation:

O wind, carry my secret to her ear,
In countless tongues, my heart's deep yearnings bear.
Speak softly, lest you cause her any pain,
Hint at my love, then gently turn again.
