عهدِ اَلَستِ من همه با عشقِ شاه بود
وَز شاهراهِ عمر، بدین عهد بگذرم

شعرم به یُمنِ مَدحِ تو صد مُلکِ دل گشاد
گویی که تیغِ توست زبانِ سُخنورم

مستی به آبِ یک دو عِنَب وضعِ بنده نیست
من سالخورده پیرِ خرابات پَروَرَم
***
نامم ز کارخانهٔ عُشّاق محو باد
گر جز محبتِ تو بُوَد شغلِ دیگرم
***
بنما به من که مُنکِرِ حُسنِ رخِ تو کیست
تا دیده‌اش به گِزلِکِ غیرت برآورم
***
گردون چو کرد نظمِ ثُرَیّا به نامِ شاه
من نظمِ دُر چرا نکنم؟ از کِه کمترم؟
***
بر گُلشنی اگر بگذشتم چو بادِ صبح
نِی عشق سرو بود و نه شوقِ صنوبرم
***
با سِیرِ اخترِ فلکم داوری بَسیست
انصافِ شاه باد در این قصه یاورم

شِبلُ الاَسَد به صیدِ دلم حمله کرد و من
گر لاغرم وگرنه شکارِ غضنفرم

بر من فُتاد سایهٔ خورشیدِ سلطنت
و اکنون فَراغت است ز خورشیدِ خاورم

شاهین صفت چو طعمه چَشیدم ز دستِ شاه
کِی باشد التفات به صیدِ کبوترم

جوزا سَحَر نهادْ حمایل برابرم
یعنی غلامِ شاهم و سوگند می‌خورم

ساقی بیا که از مددِ بختِ کارساز
کامی که خواستم ز خدا شد مُیَسَّرَم

جامی بده که باز به شادیِّ رویِ شاه
پیرانه سر، هوایِ جوانیست در سرم
***
راهم مزن به وصفِ زلالِ خِضِر که من
از جامِ شاه جُرعه کَشِ حوضِ کوثرم
***
شاها اگر به عرش رسانم سریرِ فضل
مملوکِ این جِنابم و مسکین این دَرَم
***
من جرعه نوشِ بزمِ تو بودم هزار سال
کی تَرکِ آبخورْد کُنَد طبعِ خوگرم

ور باوَرَت نمی‌کند از بنده این حدیث
از گفتهٔ کمال، دلیلی بیاورم

گر بَرکَنَم دل از تو و بَردارم از تو مِهر
آن مِهر بَر کِه افکنم؟ آن دل کجا بَرَم؟

منصور بِنْ مُظَفَّرِ غازیست حرزِ من
و از این خجسته نام، بر اَعدا مُظَفَّرَم

ای شاهِ شیرگیر چه کم گردد ار شود
در سایهٔ تو مُلکِ فَراغت مُیَسَّرَم

بویِ تو می‌شنیدم و بر یادِ رویِ تو
دادند ساقیانِ طَرَب یک دو ساغرم
***
شُکرِ خدا که باز در این اوجِ بارگاه
طاووسِ عرش می‌شنود صیتِ شَهپَرَم

ای عاشقانِ رویِ تو از ذَرِّه بیشتر
من کِی رَسَم به وصلِ تو کز ذَرِّه کمترم
***
مقصود از این معامله بازارتیزی است
نی جلوه می‌فروشم و نی عشوه می‌خرم

English Translation:
Gemini has set its scales opposite me this morning
Meaning I am the king's servant and I swear allegiance.
O cupbearer, come, for with the help of a fortunate destiny
The wish I asked of God has been fulfilled.
Give me a cup so that once again, with joy in the king's face
An old head holds youthful desires.
Do not prevent me from describing the clear waters of Khizr, for I
Have drunk from the king's cup, a sip from the Pool of Abundance.
O king, if you raise me to the throne of favor
I am still your servant and a humble one at that.
I have been a drinker at your feast for a thousand years
How can my accustomed nature abandon the drinking?

If I turn my heart from you and take my love away
Where shall I cast that love? Where shall I take that heart?
Mansur ibn Muzaffar al-Ghazi is my talisman
And by this auspicious name, I am victorious over my enemies.

When the heavens have ordered the Pleiades in the king's name
Why should I not order pearls? Am I less than that?
Like a falcon, I have tasted prey from the king's hand
When will there be attention paid to my pigeon-like prey?
O lion-capturing king, what will be lost if
The realm of tranquility is made possible for me in your shadow?
My poem, thanks to your praise, has opened a hundred kingdoms of the heart
It is as if your sword is my tongue.
If I pass by a garden like the morning breeze
I have no desire for the cypress of love or the pine.
I would hear your scent and remembering your face
The revelers would give me a couple of draughts.
Drunkenness from a couple of grapes is not my state
I am an aged old man, nurtured by the tavern.

With the journey of the stars of my destiny, there is much judgment
May the king's justice be my ally in this tale.
Thank God that once again in this lofty court
The peacock of the celestial throne hears my song.
May my name be erased from the workshop of lovers
If there is any occupation other than your love for me.
The lion's cub has attacked my heart, and I
Though weak, am still the prey of a lion.
O lovers of your face, greater than an atom
When will I reach your union, for I am less than an atom?
Show me who denies the beauty of your face
So that I may raise their eyes with the lash of jealousy.
The shadow of the sun of kingship has fallen upon me
And now I am free from the sun of the east.
