English Translation for Ghazal

I will make my eyes a sea and cast my patience to the desert
And in this endeavor, I will cast my heart into the sea.

From my narrow, sinful heart, I will let out a sigh
That will ignite a fire in the sin of Adam and Eve.

The source of joy is where my beloved is
I will strive to cast myself there.

Open the collar of your robe, O moon-faced one with a turban like the sun
So that I may cast my troubled head at your feet like your locks.

I have been struck by the arrow of fate, give me wine to make me drunk
So that I may untie the knot of the Gemini bowstring around my waist.

I will pour a goblet of wine on this flowing throne
And create a tumult with the lute in this blue dome.

Hafez, relying on the days is like a mistake and an error
Why should I postpone today’s pleasure until tomorrow?
