Missing Those Epic Love Stories
By @hamed | poet: original | 4 0
In the echoes of time, true love has faded away,
Centuries have passed, no true love story to sway.
***
Once, hearts would beat in unison, pure and bright,
Now, shadows of love vanish in the gray.
***
Where are the tales of passion, deep and grand?
Lost in the sands of time, like castles of stray.
***
Lovers now speak in whispers, afraid to feel,
In a world so cold, where nothing seems stay.
***
Promises once made under the moon’s gentle light,
Now broken and forgotten, lost in the fray.
***
Oh, how we yearn for a love that’s true,
But in this modern age, such love is stray.
***
Gone are the days of romance, pure and sweet,
Replaced by fleeting moments, all in delay.
***
So we wander, searching for a love that’s real,
In a world where true love is no longer the convey.
***
Description:
Ugh, missing those epic love stories where people actually felt something. Like, remember when love wasn't just a swipe right? Feels like we're living in a black and white movie longing for color. Anyone else?
