English Translation for Ghazal

O you who are always proud of yourself
If you have no love, you are not excused

Do not wander around the madmen of love
For you are known for your wise mind

The intoxication of love is not in your head
Go, for you are drunk on grape juice

Your face is pale and your sigh is sorrowful
Love is the medicine for the lovers' suffering

Forget about your name and shame, Hafez
Ask for a cup of wine, for you are drowsy
