I saw the son of a wealthy man sitting by his father's grave, arguing with the son of a poor man. The rich man's son boasted, "Our family tomb is adorned with heavy stonework, colorful inscriptions, marble carpeting, and turquoise bricks. What does your father's grave look like? Just a couple of bricks hastily gathered and a handful of dirt thrown on top."
The poor man's son heard this and replied, "By the time your father manages to shift under those heavy stones, mine will already have reached paradise."
"A donkey burdened with less weight
Will surely travel with greater ease.
The poor man, who bore the load of hardship and deprivation,
Will likely meet death with a lighter heart.
But one who lived in luxury, comfort, and ease,
No doubt will find dying a much harder task."
"In any case, a prisoner freed from chains
Is better off than a ruler who finds himself bound."
