When you see that there is discord in the enemy's army, remain united. And if they gather together, consider their turmoil.

Sit peacefully with your friends

When you see war among your enemies

But if you see them united,

String your bow and strike the castle.

چو بینی که در سپاه ِ دشمن تفرقه افتاده است، تو جمع باش. و گر جمع شوند، از پریشانی اندیشه کن.

برو با دوستان آسوده بنشین

چو بینی در میان دشمنان جنگ

وگر بینی که با هم یکزبانند

کمان را زه کن و بر باره بر سنگ
