English Translation for Hekayat

A news that you know will hurt a heart, remain silent until someone else brings it.

O nightingale! Bring the glad tidings of spring,

Leave the bad news to the owl.

متن حکایت

خبری که دانی که دلی بیازارد، تو خاموش تا دیگری بیارد.

بلبلا! مژدهٔ بهار بیار

Saadi's wisdom here encourages us to bring joy and happiness to others rather than being the bearer of bad news. It's a reminder to be mindful of our impact on others' emotions and to strive to spread positivity whenever we can. His use of the nightingale and the owl as symbols adds a beautiful poetic touch to this message.
