Description:

English Translation of the Quatrain

The proofs of the secrets of the single ones are tonight,
Sitting veiled with the Beloved tonight.

O existence, estranged from this path, arise,
The presence of others is a burden tonight.

Analysis of the Quatrains

The Single Ones and Their Secrets: The "single ones" likely refer to those who have achieved a state of spiritual singularity or unity.
Veiled with the Beloved: The imagery of being "veiled with the Beloved" suggests a deep and intimate union with the divine.
A Call to Awakening: The poet calls out to "existence" to awaken from its state of separation from the divine path.
The Burden of Others: The "others" could refer to worldly attachments or the ego, which are seen as obstacles to spiritual union.

Deeper Meanings

This quatrain, like much of Rumi's poetry, can be interpreted on multiple levels:

Mystical Union: The quatrain describes a state of mystical union or enlightenment, where the individual soul is united with the divine Beloved.
The Path of Sufism: The "path" referred to is likely the Sufi path, which aims to achieve union with God.
The Illusion of Separation: The poet suggests that our sense of separation from the divine is an illusion.
