آن جان که از او دلبر ما شادانست
پیوسته سرش سبز و لبش خندان است
اندازهٔ جان نیست چنان لطف و جمال
آهسته بگوئیم مگر جانانست

English Translation of the Quatrain
That soul, from whom our beloved is joyful,
Their head is always green and their lips are always smiling.
Such grace and beauty are not the measure of a soul.
Let us whisper, perhaps it is the Beloved.
