از عهد مگو که او نه بر پای من است
چون زلف تو عهد من شکن در شکن است
زان بند شکن مگو که اندر لب تست
یا زان آتش که از لبت در دهن است
Description:
English Translation:
Do not speak of vows, for they do not bind me,
Just like your tangled hair, my promises wind and weave.
Do not speak of broken chains, for they rest on your lips,
Or the fire that from your lips into my mouth does leap.
