در جای تو جا نیست به جز آن جان را
در کوه تو کانیست بجو آن کان را
صوفی رونده گر توانی میجوی
بیرون تو مجو ز خود بجو تو آن را

English Translation of the Quatrain
There is no place for your being except in that Soul,
In your mountain, there is a mine, seek that mine.
O wandering Sufi, if you have the ability, seek,
Do not seek outside yourself, seek it within yourself.
